Fans of the
yesteryear Don, and its soundtrack in
particular, would perhaps concur that Khaike
Paan Banaraswala shouldn’t have been recreated.
And to be fair
to them, the track from Don – The Chase
Begins Again, which was five minutes and 24 seconds long and penned by
Javed Akhtar, does fail to impress.
But those who
preferred the latter did have the last laugh, became it went on to become
pretty popular.

For Shahrukh
Khan’s fans, his interlude was a highlight.
