This should’ve become a Ma(hadeva)ntra

The first two lines of title track of Lakshya – “Haan yehi rasta hai tera, tune ab jaana hai, haan yehi sapna hai tera, tune pehchaana hai” – can be translated to, “Yes, this is your path, you have realised that now. Yes, this is your dream, you’ve identified it.”

The longest track in the film, it was six minutes and 15 seconds long. It was penned by none other than Javed Akhtar and composed by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa.

If Mahadevan aimed to inspire the listeners with his rendition, he certainly achieved it.
