iS(in)bad. When one listens to the
duet about The Sailor, which he and
Raman Mahadevan rendered in Rock On!!,
he/she can be forgiven for opining that this saying is apt.
While it wouldn’t
be incorrect to state that the duo sailed through the track, most fans would
say it was too long for their liking. In fact, it was the longest song in the
film – it was six minutes and 32 seconds long.
Javed Akhtar,
who penned it, and composers Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa
failed to steady the ship.
