Mitwa – by far the best song in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna – wasn’t the easiest song to render. In
fact, going by the first initials of the three singers (Shafqat Amanat Ali,
Shankar Mahadevan and Caralisa Monteiro), it was an SSC exam.
Needless to say,
the examiners (i e the listeners) gave it an A grade.
The track, which
was six minutes and 26 seconds long, was penned by Javed Akhtar.
Mahadevan,
Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa composed the track, which was Revisited thanks
to a remixed version, which was five minutes and 35 seconds long.
